Aitutaki & Atiu 5 nights from $1137 per person/twin share in budget accommodation

While Aitutaki has the most spectacular lagoon in the world, Atiu is well known for its birds and adventures. Some of the most appealing factors however are the natural beauty of the environment, the friendly local people, the slow paced and very relaxed lifestyle.

Most who visit Atiu wish they could have stayed longer...

The islands to do activities are the bird tours, cave and island tours. If you chose the option of a cave tour, you can select from either the Anatakitaki Cave, home to the Kopeka bird - Atiu's endemic species - or the Rima Rau Burial Cave, where you will discover the remains of those who died in a battle involving 1000 Atiu warriors centuries ago.

Birdman Georges Island Bird Tour is another must do while on Atiu. George is a man with a vast wealth of knowledge of the Atiuan ecosystem and lives to protect the islands' endangered birds. He will explain the history of the island, the culture and traditions, the uses of the flora and fauna. Many tales will be shared with you on tour. You then enjoy a delicious tropical picnic on the beach to end a great day!
