It is only a short 5 minute drive from Aitutaki Airport to reach the ferry landing beside the Full Moon Channel where you will take a 2 minute ride across to Motu Akitua and in no time you will be relaxing on the beach enjoying an ice-cold beverage and admiring Aitutaki’s beauty at its best.

The resort boasts a collection of 36 well-appointed stand alone bungalows with 5 Polynesian inspired accommodation categories to choose from. Categories range from the comfortable Beachfront Bungalows to the exclusive Overwater Bungalows and the exotic Royal Honeymoon Pool Villa (Princess Te Arau). All bungalows are air-conditioned and each have their own private bathrooms, Polynesian-style outdoor showers, satellite flat screen TV’s, mini-fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, room safes and a balcony with sun loungers to relax on.

If you’re looking for something extra special, the Royal Honeymoon Villa is fitted with a Bose Digital Audio System, full kitchen, a coffee maker, en-suite with outdoor shower, its own private swimming pool, daybed pavilion and hydrotherapy spa bath.

The Overwater Bungalows are the only ones in the Cooks Islands, making them ideal for couples dreaming of a romantic overwater getaway. Each bungalow is situated along the coastline of the island providing unsurpassed views of the lagoon and direct access to the warm waters via a small ladder on the lower balcony deck.

The Beachfront Bungalows are located on the sunset side of the island offering great views out towards the O’otu (Full Moon) Channel. The Deluxe Beachfront Bungalows are located on the white sandy beach enjoying idyllic lagoon views and the Premium Beachfront Bungalows are situated on the champagne sands of Sunset Beach with hammocks close by.

For couples seeking a luxury romantic getaway the Royal Honeymoon Pool Villa (Princess Te Arau) is for you. It is the only villa at the resort that has its own private swimming pool with a pool pavilion and open-air spa bath. The villa has been designed with romance in mind and has been lovingly created using locally-milled mahogany, wild hibiscus wood and hand-collected corals from the beach.

It is situated in its own private tropical garden enclave to allow for maximum privacy and relaxation. Set right on the edge of the waterfront is the Flying Boat Beach Bar & Grill which offers a beach gourmet eatery with a magnificent view and a wide selection of mouthwatering meals. Fresh local seafood, tropical fruits and vegetables are used abundantly and transformed into delectable Pacific-inspired dishes.
