Ranginui’s Sunset is located in the village of Amuri, only 2 minutes drive from the Airport and less than 15 minutes to Arutanga town centre. The property is set on a beautiful white sand beach on north-west coast of Aitutaki. Ranginui’s Sunset comprises of 3 clean and spacious stand-alone bungalows, ideal for those who don’t mind a little simplicity. They are situated next door to each other and only a few steps away from the warm waters of the lagoon.

All bungalows feature a lovely open plan design as well as a small balcony overlooking the lagoon. The exterior view is great, and the interior will not disappoint you, it is both very spacious and well appointed. All rooms come fitted with a kitchen, private bathroom, comfortable beds and a dining table. They are all well located in the room, therefore guests can enjoy and appreciate the large living spaces.

The bedding used is locally hand printed tie-dye sheets, very light and similar to muslin and very much popular amongst locals and tourists. Great for keeping cool during those warm tropical days. They also have portable air cons available at a small cost. Each unit has its own charm, and can comfortably sleep up to 3 people. It suits couples or even small families of two adults and one child, although if you’re travelling as a group of three adults then the One Bedroom Bungalows are perfect.

Take time to explore the lagoon through a bit of snorkelling or kayaking, using the complimentary equipment. There is no restaurant on site however the Boat Shed Bar & Grill is located just down the road past the airport or Rumours Café a short drive up the main road.

Ranginui’s Sunset is the perfect retreat for the budget conscious traveller, those who aren't interested in the big commercial properties will definitely enjoy it here.
